If Steve Jobs could hear me

November 17, 2008 Leave a comment Go to comments

in the past few days, there’re many many responses from around the world to Apple about the new products, especially new MacBook which Firewire connection was removed. There’s a reply from Steve Jobs about this issue as you can read from this link. This means user’s voice is loud enough for Apple to hear today. So, what would I tell Apple if they could hear me.

Apple tookover Emagic for several years. Emagic Logic has been changed to be Apple Logic Pro. One of the most well-known instrument in Logic is EVP88, virtual electric piano. Can anyone remember EVP73? it’s a VST plugin, feature-limited version of EVP88. The EVP73 development was stopped since Emagic was acquired. Would Apple please release EVP73 as free plugin? if not AU on Mac, only VST on Windows is ok. I love its sound and regret that it disappeared. Open source or not is up to you.
